Wolves of The Endless Cave

You've spotted a misterious cave and decide to explore it. After a while, it gets so dark you can't see your muzzle. Your lost. Can you find a way out, that is, if you can survive here, in the dark, damp, unforgiving walls of endless rock?

Live off of the water dripping from the walls of the cave and from pools, but be careful it's not poisoned. Down in the cave, it passes through many things, and those things could be fatal. Find the other animals, like deer, rabbits, etc., for food, but avoid predators that have lost their way. Find the other wolves that have gotton lost here, where they have a leader who is brave and risk-taking, noble and strict. Fights happen often here. If the challenger loses, they get left behind, become an omega, or get killed. If the last leader loses, they become an omega or whatever the new leader wants to do with them.

Events:Moon and Night are becoming mates along with Sandy and Zander. Zander and Nixon have joined the Shadows, and Night is being Alpha along side Moon(Zander might be being alpha along side Sandy)

"Congrats," Caver yipped quietly before sitting down, glancing at all the new mated pairs.

Nikol scowled in distaste at all the wolves hitching up. She grumped and stalked off with a limp untill she arrived at a small river. She sat down with a grunt and glared into the black water that was hard to see.

[Wind]

Zander stood up, smiling slightly and excited at the thought of all wolves becoming official pairs. "Congratulations," he murmured two the two new mates.

Nixon stood up after Zander and glanced at everyone who was gazing at another wolf fondly. He tilted his head, confused by what they were all excited about.

[Lightning]

The light shadow turned to adoptive son. "You dont mind be becoming your second mother do you?" she asked the young pup that looked so much like his father.

Khola
Khola walked slowly through the cave, his fur lightly brushing Sakura's fur for guidence as he half way stumbled and half way trotted beside his blind sister. He glanced around, unable to see anything ahead. This part of the cave seemed the darkest, black in every corner, not even a glimmer of light from bell thorns. He growls irritably, angry that he feels so weak and helpless. I feel somewhat saddened that my time of being helpfull is over. Very rarely can my blindness can be used to help someone

Sakura
I walk somewhat slowly, allowing Khola to keep up with my somewhat quick pace. After a moment I start to feel my paws moving downwards slightly. I stop abruptly and reach out a paw. And sure enough, just as I suspected, there was a huge hole in the ground. I snorted and reached back torwards Khola, grabbing his tail with my teeth, I tug slightly in another direction to tell him where to go. I hear him nod and I turn, padding forward once again though this time my tail is rested on his nose.

After a long while of walking I notice Khola has stopped walking and I look backwards at him with blind eyes curiously. My ears flick as I hear him move in front of me and place his tail on my nose, I know it is lighter in the cave and it is now my turn to be led around like a dog on a leash with twolegs.

Khola pauses, glad to see a dimmer of light ahead. After a moment he walks past Sakara and rests his tail on her nose, it now being his turn to lead the way since he can see. A feeling of relief washes over him, glad he wont be feeling so useless, suddenly he freezes as Sakara whispers that wolves are ahead and he peaks into the distance to see more wolves

Kala continued to watch the interactions between the shadows, and she smiled politely at Crissie and Nixon. She was completely unaware of Khola and Sakura's presence.

Oak heard a quiet, subtle noise--stumbling, the scrape of claws against rock--and the elder slowly and gingerly made his way toward it. He peacefully dipped his head to the two wolves he was met with. "I am Oak," the brown wolf stated simply.

[Cailean]

Sakara:
I perk my ears as I hear a wolf coming torwards us and my hackles automatically raise in case he is dangerous. Though as he approaches I relax, his foot steps were not heavy and far apart like a massive wolf who could take them down with one blow. I flick an ear as he speaks and I nod to him, "Hello Oak, I am Sakara." I said softly so that I could hear past him and hear Oaks friends as well.

Khola:
Khola took a step back as the male approached and he quickly learned his name was Oak. He nodded in greeting to the male and listened as Sakara greeted him. Khola huffed slightly, it always annoyed him when Sakara stared right at you when speaking, like she could actually see you. He grunted and shook his head before introducing himself as well. "Pleasure to meat you Oak, I am Khola."

[Seaspray]

Oak flicked his tail. "It is great to meet you two as well. There are other wolves in this cave who are friendly; Moon's pack and the Shadows. Would you like me to lead you to them?" He asked.

[Cailean]

I immediatly nod, excited at the idea of meating other wolves and I feel Khola's fur brush as he nods as well. "Yes please," I answered, shifting my paws excitedly.

After a short pause, Khola nods as well, pearing around Oak and then back at the brute.

[Wind]

Nixon wagged his tail at the faes question and he shakes his head violently. "No I do not mind at all...mom." Nixon said somewhat awkwardly, not used to using the word, "mom," though suddenly he shakes his fur, getting used to the word and actually enjoying it. "I have someonme to call mom now!" He thinks excitedly, looking up to his new mom and newly discovered father. "I have a family again!" He thiks, glancing between the two.

Zander smiles, looking down at Nixon as he presses against Sandy lovingly. After a moment he takes a step back, looking at Night and moon, wandering exactly when the ceramonies would be held as he scents new wolves near. His ear flicks and he turns his head, eyes scanning the darkness of the cave in search of the wolf.

[Lightning]

Sandy smiled and nuzzled her new pup. "I love you already Dusk Shadow." she said addressing him by his formal name. Glancing up at Zander as he pressed against her, Crissy let her tail wag.

Night turned as he caught the s ent of wolves. His fur ruffled as he stared at them coming closer.

Kishan growled as he stepped in front of Nova with flashing brown eyes.

All the shadows were on edge because their camp could only be found if they were lead here.

[Seaspray]

Oak nodded. "Very well," he said, turning to see the Shadows already edgy. He flicked his tail once and led the two wolves into the camp, looking at Moon Shine and Night Runner.

[Lightning]

Night Runner stalked forward to Oak. "Why did you bring them here?" he asked the elder.

Sandy joined Night growling. "None but Shadows are ment to lead outsiders here." she snapped, "We dont like visitors and your pack is only here because of Night Runner." Her amber eyes blazed at the elder as she turned her gaze to the wolves behind him.

[Cailean]

I snarl, furious that Oak had gotten in trouble because of them. "He was only being hospitable!" I snap angrily in the direction I figure a female wolf and a male wolf stand by the sounds of there voices, my white glazed eyes blazing even though I was blind. "We would have found your camp site anyways!" I say tartly not as angry, ears flicking as I hear Khola interupt me.

"No reason to get huffy with our friend Oak, it is our fault we intruded into your camp," Khola interupted his angered sister though his voice was stiff, also annoyed at them for getting angry at Oak. He was only trying to be friendly and he was obviously a good member, hence he was the one that scented them in the first place, unlike any of the other wolves who has noiced them or hadnt done anything about it.

[Breeze]

Nova looks to Kishan as he steps in front of her protectivly. She smiles, but then it drops as the scent of two new wolves hit her nose. A small, protective growl escapes her throat, her eyes flashing in the light.
Oak. I see you've made some friends. Moon says, turning herself to the brown elder. Hers eyes are kind, and she is not as mad as the Shadows seem to be.

[Lightning]

Night snarled. "Without guidance it is nearly inpossible to find." he sanpped at the new wolves.

Crissie stepped forward until she right in front of the wolves. Her golden pelt stood on end. "This is the one plance we hold in our hearts." she snarled, "It is our only home."

Kishan growled deeply in his chest. He could see that all the shadows were on edge. "Light Shadow." he called out, "They need to leave." The tiger shadow was pointing out the thing that nly shadows knew. The moon pool was the reason that they could see so well. That they had survived, none but they were allowed to drink from it. Sandy nodded at his words and his brown eyes flashed with breif happiness that she had akcnolegde his remark.

[Cailean]

I snarl at the black brute[Night], "No, I would have found it anyways, we were extremly close by, I can scent the water and we are both thirsty so I would have led us here!" I snap, teeth suddenly baring at all of the wolves.

Khola's lips drew back as all of the wolves started ganging up on them and his ears flicked as a wolf told them they needed to leave. He growled lowly and said nothing though he nudged his sister rouphly in another diection and she nodded.

I look up, feeling Khola nudge me and I nod, turning and lightly bumping into Oak. I frown in apology and stalk off, hearing my brother follow me I rest my tail tip on his nose when I assume it becomes dark all around us and my head sweeps to the side, hoping to catch a scent of water. I huff as I cannot except from the pool we were just at and I pad faster, ears flickering as I hear Khola stumble a few times. I suddenly slow down, not wanting him to fall over or anything.

[Lightning]

Night growled and stalked over to sit by the moon pool looking into it.

Sandy padded after them. "I know a stream." she said leading the way before leaving them to go pack to the packs. She sat beside Night and gazed into the moon pool.

Kishan watched as sandy came and went. He nudged Nova and joined the shadows by the moon pool. Gazing into it.

[Breeze]

Nova bares her own fangs as the new, unwanted wolf does. As Kishan nudges her, she lowers her lips, then pads over to gaze into the water. She begins to feel guilty; would she have been treated this way when she had stumbled upon this place as a pup? Nowolf had been here, yet even at that young age, she could tell a pack of wolves had lived here. She had run away, hoping they wouldn't have been mad at her when they came back. That was how she had found the small cavern with all the bellthorns. Her eyes flash as she lowers her head. She gazes into the water, hoping for forgiveness.
Shay throws in a plant, then lowers herself in. Her head goes under, and she comes out pink. She throws in another, turning the water a light purple. Her mother had called it lavender. She dips her tail tip in, then begins to paint swirls of lavender all over the pink.

[Cailean]

"We don't need your help," I growl as the Sandy colored fae leads us to water and I stop, refusing to follow but when I am nudged by Khola I growl and slowly pad after the fae until I spot a large pool of water. I don't bother saying thanks as I dip my head, sniffing for parasites in the water, but when I scent none I go ahead and take a drink.

Khola comes up and pears into the dark water before drinking. The water trickles down his throat and barely soothes his rough and scratchy throat. After a moment he starts to cough violently, bowing over as his body heaves. Suddenly he tips over, falling into the water. He let out a scratchy yip in alarm and scrabbled out. He looks over and sees that his sister is trying not to laugh. He grins and flashes out a paw, tipping her into the water and he hears a sharp yip from her as well. He laughs a scratchy laugh and is barely able to stop from coughing as he sits down, waiting for his fur to dry as Sakura climbs out if the water

[Breeze]

Shay looks up as she hears harsh coughing. As a healer, she has great concern. She gets up, not even waiting gor her paint to dry, and she follows the coughs and..... laughter? Her pace quickens, and she is careful to leave behind scents to come back. Are you all right? The now pink and lavender fae asks with concern.

[Seaspray]

Oak gave Night Runner and the other Shadows a suppressed snarl. "Punish me all you want," he said evenly, managing to swallow his irritation. "These wolves were in need of help and they are well-meaning. I'm sorry if my morals are better than your's." Then the brown elder stalked away, lost in thought.

(oh snap.)

[Lightning]

The shadows laughed softly. "We have to protect what has kept us alive." they said as one.


Sandy turned around and smiled. "The moon pool is our life-line." she said softly. "Just like the sun-pool will become yours."

Night Runner looked over his shoulder at the elder. "They can keep you alive in the worst times and help you grow used to the darkness. They hold the light of the sun and moon in them." he explained.

Kishan glanced at Nova as she sat beside him and then at the light and dark shadows as they spoke. His brown eyes returned to the moon-pool as theirs did.

[Seaspray]

Kala, the white shadow, nodded and looked at Oak matter-of-factly. She then glued her eyes back to the moon-pool.

Oak huffed indignantly at first, but experience told him never to angry for long. Taken by curiosity, the brown brute turned around and retraced his steps to watch the Shadows at the moon-pool. "The sun-pool?" He questioned.

[Breeze]

What is the sun-pool? Moon asks, her sliver head tilted. The Shadows were using words she had never heard before.

[Lightning]

Night raised his head. "The sun-pool is the one other place like this. We named it because it only catches the light of the sun and the moon-pool only that of the moon." he explained to his mate and new pack member.

Sandy looked around at the other wolves. "It gives you a better ability to see in the dark and sometimes can point you to the one who has caught your heart no matter what." she said smiling softly.
