Wolves of The Endless Cave

You've spotted a misterious cave and decide to explore it. After a while, it gets so dark you can't see your muzzle. Your lost. Can you find a way out, that is, if you can survive here, in the dark, damp, unforgiving walls of endless rock?

Live off of the water dripping from the walls of the cave and from pools, but be careful it's not poisoned. Down in the cave, it passes through many things, and those things could be fatal. Find the other animals, like deer, rabbits, etc., for food, but avoid predators that have lost their way. Find the other wolves that have gotton lost here, where they have a leader who is brave and risk-taking, noble and strict. Fights happen often here. If the challenger loses, they get left behind, become an omega, or get killed. If the last leader loses, they become an omega or whatever the new leader wants to do with them.

Events:Moon and Night are becoming mates along with Sandy and Zander. Zander and Nixon have joined the Shadows, and Night is being Alpha along side Moon(Zander might be being alpha along side Sandy)

Zander perked his ears and looked up as he heard Night huff. Zander suddenly shook his head and stood up as he realized he had not introduced himself first and padded over to the other wolves and sat down three paces behind them. "Im Zander," he barked, glancing at all of them before his eyes rested on Oak and he lied down, not even bothering to act uninterested this time.

[Lightning]

Sandy and Night looked at Zander. "Im Sandy and this is Night." she said as they nodded to him.

[Breeze]

~Moon~
Moon listens and perks her ears. Though she had intended to speak to her small pack, she could go for a story and some cheering up.
~Shalyla~
Shay flicks her ear, listening though acting like she's not. She takes a few stems of one plant, and some from another. She chews the two plants up and carefully slides it onto a leaf that had blown in and made it here.

[Seaspray]

"Hmm?" A new scent cut through his story. "I'm Oak." He yipped to the newcomer, Night.

[Lightning]

Night bowed his head in respect and greeting. "Greeting elder Oak." he said.

Sandy smiled. "This is Night Runner. Also called Hidden Darkness and the dark shadow of the cave." she said softly.

[Seaspray]

The brown elder flicked his tail. "Interesting name." He noted without a trace of mockery or fear, just curiosity.

[Breeze]

~Shalyla~
Shay slips the chewed herbs into the water. She gives the fainest smile as it turns the water a solid green. She dips her paw in, and begins to brush the area around her eyes.
~Moon Shine~
Moon looks over to the pool her sister is sitting at. She smiles as she sees that Shay is painting her fur. She's been know to do that, so it's nothing unusual for her. Moon looks back to Oak, eager to get on with the story.

[Lightning]

Night nodded. "I was found without memory of who I was or where I was at the age of 16 weeks. They named me because I came running into camp at night." he explained.

[Breeze]

~Shalyla~
Shay pays no attention to the conversation behind her. Concentrating on carefully painting her fur, she paints a swirl along her flank. She chews up another herb and puts it into the water. The water turns royal blue. Shay dips the tip of her tail in, then her paws. With one paw, she paints little dots beneath her eyes.

[Amazon]

Nikol perked her ears and looked up as she saw a wolf painting her fur. She continued to starefor moments, somehow intriged, before she shook her head and looked back to Oak. She lied down after a pause and rested her head on the stone cave floor, her eyes glancing from wolf to wolf as she waited for him to continue his story.

[Breeze]

Shay's ear flicks as she senses somewolf looking at her. Her head twitches in the direction, and sees it's the maned wolf, Nikol. She shrugs carelessly and goes back to painting her fur.

[Dawn]

Ava smiled as she listened to the story. She then looked at Sandy and Night as they laid down on both sides of her. The brown pup sighed and looked back at Oak, waiting for the story to continue.

[Wind]

Nixon glanced around, not able to see what lie ahead two steps ahead of him. He growled in frustration and started to trot quickly forward, getting scared of the silence and the darkness that overwhelmed him. Only a few seconds later he sped up, his paws scraping against the hard stone floor as he ran blindly forward. Suddenly he skidded to a stop and tumbled over a jutting rock, he fell face forward and crashed onto the floor before rolling over and struggling to his paws. He stared ahead, or at least what he thought was ahead and narrowed his blue eyes as he spotted a glimmer of light in the darkness. The light was faint and barely audible to see but he knew it was a bellthorn light as he hurried to it, a sudden strong scent of wolves ahead froze him to the spot. He could hear their voices now and he perked his ears, trying to catch the sounds and words tht were spoken by several words.

[Seaspray]

Oak saw a pup out of the corner of his eye but he went back to the story anyway. "Just as we were face-to-face, a huge airborne shape loomed over us..." He stood taller, making himself seem larger, and held out a foreleg so that the shadow on the cave roof looked like a helicopter. Needless to say, he looked silly doing this. The elder continued, "Then Stalker crumbled to the ground. When the flying beast cleared out, I led the pack in to see if Stalker was still alive. He was, by some miracle, alive but very weak. I could have left him right there. He was always my rival. But I didn't, instead nursing him back to health. He was never quite the same after that. Stalker never teamed up with Hambone again...once," He hesitated about sharing too much of his life, so Oak continued with a whisper. "Once he even defended me. He became a faithful beta. The lesson here is that even the most corrupt wolves can recover through kindness." The brown brute smiled and finally glanced at the newcomer pup.

[Wind]

Nixon perked his ears as he realized a story was being told. He quickly sat down even though he could tell he missed some of it and listened intently, his tail curling around his paws as he watched silently.

Zander stood up after the story and yawned, stretching. "Nice story," he yipped to Oak and he shook his fur, suddenly scenting another wolf. He turned his head to see a pup

[Breeze]

Shay throws one more plant in, which somehow changes the water back to normal, and also gives out a litle puff of smoke. She turns to see a pup by the wall. Her head tilts, not sure what to do with him. She looks to her sister, hoping to gain her attention.
Moon listens to Oak's story. She sees Shay trying to catch her eye, and her head turns to her. Shalyla flicks her ear to a shadowy spot of the cave. A pups scent hits her nose. Hello. May I ask you your name?

[Amazon]

Nikol turned her head as a sudden scent hit her nose. She spotted a pup in the distance and flicked her tail in greeting, smiling slightly at the young pup and Nikol waited to hear the pups answer to Moons question.

[Breeze]

Shay breaths out heavily as Moon deals with the situation. She was never good with new wolves, like she had never been a good leader. She remembers a time when the two were still pups, and the rest of the litter had been playing a game called "Battle." Somehow, Shay had been elected leader for one team, her brother elected for the leader of the other. The plot of the game was that the two teams would play fight, the "Battle" part. Her father had made up the game, but years later, Shay had suspected it as to see which of his pups should take his place as leader. When the battle had started, Shay got nervous, and pretended that a bear had come and killed her. She had made Moon her beta, so she took over. Shay's side won, becuacse Moon had led them to battle.

[Seaspray]

Oak smiled toothily at the pup. "Oak is the name." He spoke after Moon did.

[Wind]

Zander stayed silent as he waited to hear the pups response and his eyes narrowed as the pup padded out into better view. He looks somewhat like me....and he has the eyes of Opal(Opal was Zanders old mate) Zander thought and stood up.

Nixon shifted his paws nervously before slowly padding forward into better view. He nodded to the fae who asked for his name, "Im Nixon," he woofed and his gaze shifted to an older wolf who called himself Oak. Nixon smiled and nodded in response, "Nice to meat you Oak," he said and his blue eyes suddenly jerked to a brute[Zander] as he stood up. Nixon peared at the male through narrowed eyes as the males fur reminded him of his own fur. Nixon sighed and shook his head and allowing his thoughts of being related to the wolf drift to the back of his head as he turned back to the fae who appeared to be leader as he waited for what she would say

[Lightning]

Sandy smiled. "Hello Nixon. I am Sandy." she said softly in greeting. Her amber eyes glowed in the light as she rose to her paws. "Thank you for allowing me to listen in on your story Oak." she said to the elder. Turning the light shadow of the cave slipped away.

"I am Night Runner. Nixon its was nice to meet you." the black brute heaved himself to his paws. "I also thank you Oak." He let his dark brown eyes land on each wolf. "We will see you again soon." he said turning to go in a different direction to his light couterpart, "I especially look forward to seeing you again Moon." With a laugh the dark shadow of the cave slipped away fadding into the darkness of the cave around him.

[Breeze]

Hello, Nixon. I'm Moon Shine, but just call me Moon. Moon says, smiling to the much younger wolf. Moon sits down, ready to begin what she was before more wolves came and Oak had started a story.
I'm Shalyla. Shay calls to the pup. She turns to the rest of the wolves, but then sees her sister is wanting to say something. She turns to where she is facing her silver sister.
Moon watches Sandy and Night slip away. Her ears perk as Night calls to her, and she wonders what he means. She subconciously follows the black brute with her muzzle.

[Seaspray]

Oak nodded as the two wolves thanked him, them turned to look at the new pup, Nikon. He had already stated his name, so he said, "Nice to meet you, Nikon."

[Wind]

"Nice to meat you all!" Nixon yipped, his blue eyes darting from all of the differant wolves as he tried to remember all of their names. Finally relaxed and at ease, Nixon padded forward a few paces before sitting down.

"Im Zander," Zander barked at the pup before turning as he heard paw steps and he looked over and saw that Moon was following Nightrunner. He perked his ears, slightly curious but said nothing and shook his fur out.

[Breeze]

(Actually, Moon isn't following Night. She's watching him.)
Shay sees her sister watching Night. She feels intriged slightly. and the want to tease her, like they did when they were younger.
Moon lifts her head back up, looking over each wolf in her small cave pack. She hopes to regain their attention easily.
