This roleplay topic takes place in bustling city full of humans. Some of these humans are well-meaning and will feed you, but others will try to catch you or even kill you. The metal monsters that rule the city will hunt you. As a stray dog living on the streets, you may join a pack or strike out on your own. Either way, beware; a dog's life is a fight for survival.

Winter turned her gaze onto Heike again. "Are your injuries healing well?" She asked.

[Fang]

Heike double checked his body before he looked back up at Winter."They are. It's just a few claw and bite wounds. Don't worry about me, I'm fine." He said and smiled jumping into the air once. His muscles was in pain, but he didn't give any sign of it hurting. He smiled and sat down. "Morning everyone." He added at last.

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red looked at Heike when he spoke. "Mornin'," she said.

[Seaspray]

Winter turned to Golda Red. "I would like you to patrol the borders of the pack territory, if you have the time. If Heike is feeling up to it, he can come. If not, I'll come with you to keep you company." She suggested.

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red perked her ears to Winter. "What you mean my the territory is by the outside of this den... right?"

[Seaspray]

Winter nodded. "If you want I can come with you to show you where the borders are." The siberian husky offered.

[Rosaleena]

"Ok then," Golda Red replied. "Lead the way."

[Fang]

Heike nodded. "I'll come with you, I'm fine anyway." He said and walked over to the two.

[Seaspray]

Winter nodded. "Let's go, then." She barked, leading Golda Red and Heike to the sidewalk. She paused until the cars stopped driving for a moment, then crossed the road.

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red nodded at Heike and followed Winter outside. She ran across the street.

[Seaspray]

Winter continued to walk on before drawing to a halt at the entrance of a dog park, next to the dump. She didn't want the dog park as territory; there were too many humans and pet dogs around. No stray dogs claimed the dump as their territory because it belonged to all of the stray dog packs. "This dog park and dump marks the border of our territory. The rest of the territory is the den and the backyard of the den." She declared.

Golda Red followed Winter to the dog park and the dump. When she declared her territory, she howled.

[Seaspray]

Winter joined Golda Red's howl, marking the territory as owned by the Street Survivors Pack. Although the territory was small at the moment, it would grow in size as the pack grew. Hopefully, no other dogs would enter their territory except to join the pack.

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red stopped howling for a while. She looked around a bit and saw a man with a net walking towards them.

(hmm maybe we'll make this a spicing up roleplay event even though we didn't vote on it)

Winter also saw the human and stiffened. It was coming closer and closer. The stray siberian husky had no choice but to follow her instinct: to run.

[Rosaleena]

While Winter ran, Golda Red stayed. Her growl was growing louder and louder, and her hackles rose. When the man was close enough, she jumped at it and bit its arm. The man yelled in pain, and a few minutes later, many more snowed up. They all managed to trap her in the net and they put her in a cage. They put the cage in a metal thing [car] and drove away.

[Seaspray]

Winter barked in alarm as she looked behind her and saw Golda being caught. She immediately turned around in pursuit of the metal monter. She dodged other cars, narrowly escaping death.

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red howled for help as the metal thing drove away. She looked at the other dogs in cages around her. She saw one pitbull, greyhound, and a yorkie. She looked at them with wonder and thinking of a way to escape.

Winter finally resorted to following the metal monster while trotting along the sidewalk: she didn't want to attract any more human attention. As the siberian husky continued to walk, she thought of where Golda Red was heading, the animal shelter. She heard that the people there were friendly, but if you weren't "adopted" soon enough, you could be killed. Winter shuddered. As the car approached a building, Winter yelped in surprise as Skylar came up from behind her. "Shh!" The cat hissed. "I can help you. Golda Red is my friend too, you know."

Golda Red and the other dogs were taken into a building after the metat thing stopped. Her cage was put in a bigger cage and she was let out of the smaller cage. She barked and barked for help.

[Seaspray]

Winter heard Golda Red's pleads for help, and resisted the urge to return a reassuring howl. However, she knew that she and Skylar must remain quiet. Winter sighed and turned to her cat companion. "What now?" She growled softly. Skylar, casually licking her paw, replied, "I'm clever and small enough to sneak inside the building and undo Golda's lock." She explained between licks. "You stay here and distract the humans. Trust me; I've done this before."

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red stopped her barks for help after a while. She went and laid down in a bed, a few tears running from her eyes.

[Seaspray]

With a nod, Skylar stalked into a hole of the building. Summoning up bravery, Winter took a deep breath. Then, she let out a loud, deep bark, noticeable to humans.

Oh no!! Not again! Not again!! Blaze thought as he crashed into the cage in a futile attempt to escape. He tired quickly, though, and sat back, burying his graying muzzle into his paws. This crate was all too familiar to him. After escaping from that terrible place, is he going to be back where he started, as a fighting dog?

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red heard a bark that sounded like Winter's bark, and the tears stopped, knowing that she was going to get out of here. She looked at another dog in the same cage as she was, seeing that he was upset [Blaze]. She walked over to him. "Are you alright?"

[Seaspray]

Blaze sighed. "I don't want to be a fighting dog anymore, but since my collar is still on, the humans will have my owner come here and get me." He whined anxiously.

Skylar's blue eyes glittered as she eyed the lock on Golda Red's cage. She began to strategize how to open it.

Hearing Winter's bark, several humans whirled around, grabbed a net and ran outside to where the female siberian husky was. Perfect... Winter thought, smiling. She would give these humans a hard time if they intended to catch her. She began to sprint, but in circles, so that the humans wouldn't give up if she ran too far. Winter dodged around legs and nets, making the humans go off balance and trip.
