This roleplay topic takes place in bustling city full of humans. Some of these humans are well-meaning and will feed you, but others will try to catch you or even kill you. The metal monsters that rule the city will hunt you. As a stray dog living on the streets, you may join a pack or strike out on your own. Either way, beware; a dog's life is a fight for survival.

"Oh. Well that sucks," Golda Red commented. "I'm just waiting for my pack to show up and save me..." She noticed Skylar just outside the cage. She ran over to her. "Skylar! Is that really you? Can you get us out?"

[Seaspray]

Skylar looked around wildly, ears laid back flat against her head. Realizing they didn't attract human attention, she relaxed. "Of course I'll get you out. Be quiet, though." She mewed.

Blaze perked his ears as the cat came near. "Can you please let me out, too?" He begged. "I won't give you any trouble."

Skylar sighed. "Fine." She replied, clawing at the lock of the cage. Soon enough the cage door swung open.

Winter looked over her shoulder. She could see Skylar opening the crate, but they still needed a little more time. She continued to howl, bark, run, and dodge. There wasn't much time left; the humans were getting frustrated, and Winter was getting tired. Either the humans would give up soon, or Winter would be caught.

Golda Red watched as the door swung open, and she nodded at Skylar. "C'mon, let's go," she whispered. She ran out of the cage door and waited for the others.

[Seaspray]

Seeing the others escape, Winter suddenly bolted, running as far away as the shelter as she could without reaching the busy road. She waited for the rest of the pack at the sidewalk, watching as the humans shrugged and headed back into the building.

Blaze joyfully leapt out of the cage, dashing out the door, past shocked humans. He bounded through the parking lot. Blaze, as he stood under a tree, panting, suddenly realized that his collar was gone--it had snagged on the branches of the tree. He breathed a sigh of relief. Now that he was free, though, how was an old dog like him going to survive without a pack?

Golda Red watched as the dog burst through the open cage door, and she looked at Skylar. "We better go now if we don't want to be caught again," she said. Golda ran out of the shelter with the cat following behind her.

Winter stared at an old pitbull beagle mix sitting nearby. She narrowed her eyes. "Who are you?" She asked.

"My name's Blaze." He replied. "Nice to meet you."

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red walked over to Winter. She saw a mix-breed dog nearby, and that was the one who was found in the same cage she was in. "Hi! I'm Golda Red!"

[Seaspray]

Blaze dipped his head to Golda Red. "And I'm Blaze." He replied.

Winter nodded to the stranger dog, Blaze. "I am Winter, the alpha female of a new stray dog pack, called the Street Survivors Pack. Would you like to join?" She yipped.

Blaze thought about Winter's offer. Life as a fighting dog was tough, but at least the masters gave you a little bit of food and water. Blaze had no previous experience as a street dog, so it would be wise to join a pack. Besides, he was grateful to these dogs. "I'd be honored to join." Blaze finally confirmed.

[Rosaleena]

Golda Red smiled that Blaze accepted Winter's offer. She flickered her tail and wondered when they were gonna get back to the den.

[Seaspray]

As if reading Golda Red's mind, Winter woofed, "Come on, let's head back to the den. It's not a good idea to stay here much longer." She waited until a light flashed red and the cars halted, then swiftly crossed the road.

Wagging his tail, Blaze followed.

Golda Red followed Winter and Blaze. She ran through the sprinklers in front of a den and shook her pelt dry.

(you know what, forget about Blaze being old. He'll be a yearling instead. I'll update his bio)

Winter briefly shook her wet pelt, then continued to trot. She was nearing the den. Halting at the entrance, she looked over her shoulder for Golda and Blaze.

Blaze looked up at relatively large den in awe. As a fighting dog, the largest den was the fighting cage. Even that was small.

Rocky looked around. He missed his owners. The warm house, the pats on the head. "Oh..... I hope I find it soon."he barked nervously. After walking for a while, he came across a den with a few other dogs inside. He slowly walked up to them.

[Seaspray]

Blaze smirked at the approaching dog, who smelled like a pet. "Lost your home, pet?" He teased. "You won't last a day out here!"

Winter snarled at Blaze, who shrank back. "Sorry, that was Blaze. He was being rude." She yipped. "Anyway, I'm Winter, the alpha female of the Street Survivors Pack. What's your name?"

[Snowflower]

"I'm....Rocky."he said and backed away a bit. He just got here and yet, he already found a foe. "And who said I couldn't live a day out here?'he growled.

[Seaspray]

Winter shot Blaze a nasty glare. "Blaze is a yearling who used to be a fighting dog, so he's immature and aggressive." She sighed, trying to explain. "Don't mind him. I don't want any fights to break out." She sat down and barked. "I'm not sure if you noticed that you're in our territory." Winter kept her tone friendly. "You can leave and try to find your humans if you like. Or if you want, you can stay here and join us. Either way, you are welcome to stay in the den and eat some kibble."

[Snowflower]

Rocky was surprised to what the female had said. "Sorry, I didn't mean to step in someone else territory."he sighed. "And yeah! I would love to join you guys."his tail wagged happily.

[Seaspray]

Winter was surprised at Rocky's willingness to join the pack. Most pets were too weak, soft, dependent, and scared to live as a stray. She saw great potential in this new dog. The female siberian husky nodded. "Welcome to the pack, Rocky." She howled, leading the dogs into the den. "Is there any rank that you want?"

Blaze sniffed around the house vigorously, taking in the new sights and scents. Immersed in curiosity, he pretty much forgot about his slight disapproval of a pet joining the pack.

Golda Red saw a dog enter and join the pack. She stopped right in front of him and said, "Welcome. I'm Golda Red." She went inside the house.

[Dawn]

(Wow I missed a lot of rp...)

Pepper woke up from her very long nap to see two new dogs. The border collie pup jumped up to her feet. "Hi!" She yipped happily, "I'm Pepper!" She looked at both of them, wagging her tail.

"Thank you all."he smiled. He pondered a second before saying, "Maybe a food scout."

[Seaspray]

Winter grinned. "Good for you!" She yapped. As the excitement began to die away, the siberian husky felt her strength drain. It had been an eventful day. Sighing, she lay on her fluffy bed and quickly fell asleep.

Blaze briefly watched as Winter fell asleep. He wasn't tired, so he decided to explore this abandoned house.

Rocky went out and looked around. Scraps of food weren't very hard to find. "Humans, they waste too much. But I guess it's a good thing for us." he said and picked up some food and returned to the house and piled it up.

Blaze gave Rocky a small nod. The purpose of the nod was to acknowledge Rocky's success in finding food, but it also was an apologetic nod for what happened earlier. The mixed-breed continued to sniff around until he found a tall platform, what humans called a "counter". A smile of mischief crossed his face as Blaze wondered what was on that platform.

Golda Red jumped on top a human bed. She yawned and curled up before falling asleep.
