This roleplay topic takes place in bustling city full of humans. Some of these humans are well-meaning and will feed you, but others will try to catch you or even kill you. The metal monsters that rule the city will hunt you. As a stray dog living on the streets, you may join a pack or strike out on your own. Either way, beware; a dog's life is a fight for survival.

Current Events: Pepper, Coco, and Blaze are now old enough for their ranks. Sophie has joined the pack.

Coco padded into the city. She looked around in wonder. Her brown eyes took in everything. It was bigger than the twons she had passed through on her way out from her farm. She sighed and looked at her pelt. It was thin and ragged from weeks on the road. Her ribs showed and she was bone-tired. She started walking and wondered if she would ran into other dogs in the area.

Rocky walked out of the house after he placed the meat in front of Winter. He stood in the front yard, looking at the sky.

[Lightning]

Coco spotted a couple of dogs standing in a front yard with meat. She stopped and watched them with brown eyes.

Rocky scented another dog but didn't even try to look. Instead, he jumped into a bush.

[Lightning]

Coco watched as one of the other dogs jumped into a bush. She sighed and turned away. She forced her brown paws to carry her on and she padded slowly away.

[Snowflower]

Rocky jumped out from a bush in. He landed in front of Coco. "And you are?"he asked.

[Lightning]

Coco yelped as she ran into the dog who jumped out in front of her. "Im Coco." she said backing away scared.

[Snowflower]

Rocky lightened up a bit. "No need to be afraid. My name is Rocky."he said.

[Lightning]

"Its nice to meet you." Coco said. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. She felt bad that her chocolate brown pelt was so dirty and ragged.

[Snowflower]

"What's wrong?"Rocky asked. "Is something the matter?"he tilted his head.

[Lightning]

Coco shrugged. "My coat." she said looking at it. "Its all dirty and ragged."

[Snowflower]

"So what?"Rocky said. "Looks isn't what matters."he said. "Come on. You're gonna join our small pack right?"he asked.

[Lightning]

Coco jumped jump when he asked if she was going to join his pack. "Sure." she said, "If you will have me." She shuffled her brown forepaws nevously.

[Snowflower]

"Why not?"he smiled. "Follow me."he said and padded back to the old house. He stood in front of Winter. "Hey Winter? She wants to join. Is that ok?"he said.

[Lightning]

Coco padded after Rocky and lowered her ears and shrunk back when he spoke to another dog called Winter. "Please?" she asked softly.

Winter grinned and nodded approvingly at Rocky's find. He certainly chose the right rank. She sighed and sat down until Rocky returned with a stranger dog. The female siberian husky stood up and briefly scanned the dog with icy but kind blue eyes. "Yes, of course you can join. I'm Winter, alpha of the Street Survivors stray dog pack. What's your name?"

[Lightning]

Coco smiled and her brown eyes lit up with happiness. "Im Coco." she replied to Winter, "Im a fully trained farm dog. But my master was mean so I left." The chocolate brown kelpie shrugged. "He pushed me hard once I was changed cause I was a yearling and the youngest dog on the farm." she explained dropping her head. Her jaws opened as she yawned feeling drained.

[Seaspray]

"Some humans can be harsh." Winter growled in reply to Coco.

Blaze bounded up to Coco, his fiery eyes shining. "Hi, Coco!" He yapped. "I'm Blaze, and I am a yearling too!"

[Lightning]

Coco swang her head to look at the young dog that was also a yearling. "Hi Blaze." she said. Her brown eyes started to close slowly.

[Seaspray]

Winter sighed as she looked at Coco. Looking out a window, she realized that it was dusk. She curled up on her fluffy bed, with one eye watching her pack, and the other closed.

Blaze leaped on the human bed. He stared out of a nearby window restlessly.

[Lightning]

Coco padded closer to Blaze. "Where can I sleep?" she asked softly.

[Fang]

Heike watched as another dog was taken into the human den. He smiled carefully, before he also chose to introduce himself to Coco. "Hello there. My name is Heike. Glad you wanted to join this pack." He said cheerfully, and smiled wider. He also heard her question, but chose to leave it to Blaze. He nodded carefully to Coco and Blaze before slowly sneaking off towards the upper floor. "See you guys in the morning. Have a good night." He said low and skipped up the stairs, climbing the ladder to the top floor. He curled up with a sigh, and fell asleep.

[Seaspray]

Blaze shrugged. "You can sleep anywhere." He answered, yawning. "Human beds, dog beds, couches...whichever suits you."

[Lightning]

Coco nodded. "Thanks Blaze." she said. She looked around and padded through the house. Finding a ladder she climbed up it slowly and found a small cubby like bed which she curled up in. Her brown eyes closed and she fell asleep.

~The next day~

Winter stood up and stretched. She shook her pelt and took a bite out of the slab of meat that Rocky found, and a piece of Heike's bread. She glanced around briefly, wondering where Golda Red was. She shrugged and continued chewing her food.

Blaze yawned and lay in the human bed for a few moments. He finally stood up and jumped off the bed. He sniffed at a bag and ate the last of the kibble in the bag.
