You are a dog on the tiny island of Malta and an earthquake has happened. All people are dead, traumtized, or wanting to hurt you, such as the tan suited and yellow suited people. Tan people acctually try to catch you and send you back to the main land, where a dog has never come back. While yellow people ignore unless you get to close, which then they will beat at you with a metal stick(tan people also carry poles with hoops at the end, there like dog catchers) The city is abandoned and barely any buildings stand. There are dangers at every turn including the people, other dogs, and dangerous animals. Will you survive, Or will you die on this harsh island?

(ok so this is two days after the earthquake)
DaKoda sat, staring at the rubble and shards of glass that lay all over the ground. He remembered the quake clearly, as if it had just happened moments ago. He sighed and got up, knowing that he cant make it not happen. He looked around, plus it wasnt THAT bad, he could of been in the home, then he would be crushed under all that rubble. Leaving his thoughts behind him, he padded forward, watching his paws for pieces of glass to avoid. Once out of the yard, He trotted along the sidewalk, his steps confident and his tail up in a ark as he tried to show that he wasnt startled, all the while he glanced around for any survivors or a sturdy structure that he could sleep in

Ellie still lied under her dog house, its wood splintered though her dog house still stood. She sighed and crawled out, going to her old owners house. She stared into the dust and broken wood, pipes, and shattered glass. She grieved for Scott, knowing that he couldnt possibly of survived that. Her stomach snarled and her bushy tail went under her and her ears flattened against her skull. She shook all the dust that clung to her fur away and forced herself to turn and pad away. She stopped in the middle of the street, it felt srange that no metal mosters were roaring by. She forced a smile, that was one good thing that happened. She glanced around, she scented some food, probably burried in the rubble somewhere. Her ears perked excitedly at the scent and she followed her nose to it, only stopping when she stood in front of a largely dented icebox that lied on its side(fridgerator but she calls them ice boxes) with a wooden beam splayed across the white, cool, box. She smiled and nosed some wood away and clamped her jaws around the handle and pulled, backing up. Finally the door popped open and she peeked around the door, food wafting to her nose from inside. She yipped happily, seeing severl things she could eat, though she doubted some of it would be good to eat as the food that humans put in the ice box were meant to be cooled. She yipped happily again and stuffed her head inside, she pulled her head back out a few moments later with a milk jug in her jaws which she tossed aside, and two, cold, leftover hamburgers. she sat those down between her paws and poked her head back inside to see if she cold find anything else.

Koda perked his ears as he heard something in the distance, he was just about to go investigate the sound when he turned a bend in the street and he walked around a large rubble pile. He stopped shortly as he saw a building, it looked normal, except the small cracks down the sides of its walls. He raised his head and his tail wagged faintly before he trotted over to it confidently, though he stayed wary for humans that might be inside or wild animals that may be lurking about. He stopped infront of a dark brown door and he jumped onto his back paws and knocked his front paws onto the front door, it moved barely, just a jar and he couldnt get threw. Koda growled and slammed his weight against it again, it didnt budge. Koda sighed and dropped back down onto his forepaws before he made a quick circle around the tall house, searching for another opening. He wagged his tail as he did, there was a cracked window at the bottom and he went over and slid himself inside the building(its not really a house but a hotel) He landed with a echoing thud on the cement floor before looking around, he realized this must be a basement, he trotted over to the far corner of the window where a lead of stairs were, he slowly walked up the stairs and onto the firste floor of the building, He turned, seeing the door he tried to open was blocked with a large desk and chair leaning against it, enabling him from opening it. He sighed, knowing that he wouldnt be able to open it now without some assistance. He shook his head and trotted over to the corner deciding to get some rest first before exploring or searching for food..

Fell groaned and whined in his sleep. As indifferent as he tried to be, even when he was alone, he was still only a yearling and prone to nightmares. The lab woke with a start, his long tongue lolling out of his maw as he panted heavily. It seemed that everywhere Fell turned, he was met by sights of the earthquake, in real life and in his nightmares. The dog took a deep, calming breath, then stood up slowly and padded outside of his shelter--a half collasped house. As his fear slowly disappeared, Fell took on his usual mysterious, indifferent attitude. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a severely dented garbage can. It was a miracle that the garbage can still contained its trash after the quake. The yearling knocked the can to the ground with powerful, firm forepaws, and it landed with a clank. Fell then hungily descended on its contents as if he hadn't eaten for days, which, maybe he hadn't.

Koda opened his eyes, confused and alarmed at seeing his surroundings but quickly remembered what happened and shook his head, wishing it was all a dream. He stood up up stretched his tense muscles and gave a small yawn before shaking his head and trotting back into the basement hungrily. He glanced around, realizing he wouldnt beable to jump up and climb threw the window that way, he quickly noticed a rocking chair in the far corner, he trotted up to it and gripped its arm rest in his jaws before pulling strongly backwards and dint stop untill it was under the window. He jumped up onto the chair and poked his head out the window, he looked around before struggling up and out of the basement. He shook his fur again and followed his nose as he scented food ahead. He slowed down as he neared a tipped over trashcan and his hackles raised as he heard hissig. He peeked around the side of the trash can and with a sharp bark he chased after the racoons growling before he turned back to the trashcan to eat its edible garbage

When Ellie was finally finished digging threw the fridgerator, she had a total of two hamburgers, a plastic tub of macarooni, a corn on the cob, a small T-bone steak, and two packages of hot dogs. She had eaten it all except the two packages of hotdogs which she now held in her jaws. Now full, Ell turned her head and troted back onto the sidewalk before her pace quickened into a run as she ran along the sidewalk, her bushy tail straight out behind her. She didnt slow untill she saw a full building ahead, the building was tall and perfectly fine except for some cracks along the walls, she smiled and ran faster to the building. She slowed down as she neared the building, ready to go find a way in when she froze, scenting a dog had been here recently, she backed up, her ears flattened and turned but then changed her mind about leaving, "Who knows," she thought, "maybe its a friendly dog." she turned and trotted behind a large rubble pile by the side of the building as she waited for the dogs return

Fell continued to eat the garbage contents ruthlessly until there was nothing left, and he felt sick to his stomach. But he didn't care; he was full, and that's what mattered. The black lab continued to walk around tirelessly, this time going into the street without the threat of cars. He was approaching a building relatively unharmed, except for a few cracks along the side, until he froze in his tracks. Fell was face to face with a human with a long pole in his hand.

DaKoda raised his head as he finished eating all the pickings, he licked his muzzle and flicked his tail before turning and trotting back to the way he came, he quickly picked up speed, eager to explore the tall house when he scented a dog... and the faint trace of a human. Koda slowed down to a trot, his hackles up though he stays quite, "whats a human doing out here," he thought as he spotted the house ahead, he slowed to a walk, the scent of human, and, two dogs he scented now, was just ahead of him. He walked forward, his muscles tense and he looked around cautiously when he spotted a human a ways forward with a black dog standing just in front of the person. Koda would of normally turned and went to the house another way, but something wasnt right, this human seemed differant with the pole clutched in his hand and the aggressive way the person stood. DaKoda growled slightly though he kept back a distance, still not sure what was going on when he saw the man click something on the pole and a hoop popped out the end. Koda growled louder in warning to the human to stop this strange behavior. The man ignored him and started to move the hoop torward the black dogs face, having enouph of the human, Koda snarled and lept for the man but he realized the black dog was in danger. He quickly changed wich direction and plowed into the black dog just as the hoop was fixing to go over his head and catch onto his neck. Koda nudged the dog forward with his muzzle, GO! He barked loudly, nudging him gently again in the direction of the house. Theres a window close to the ground that you can call threw, just on the side of that house Koda barked, refusing to leave before the black dog escaped

Brook heard a commotion near her house. From where she was trapped inside the still standing fence beside her home, she couldn't see much."Hey! Over here! Let me out!" the Rottweiler pup yells loudly, determined to be heard.

DaKodas ears perked as could hear a pup shouting just a short distance away. He shook his head, determined to make sure the black dog got away safely before he went to go help another, plus the pup didnt sound like she was in real life or death type of situation.

Fell nodded in brisk thanks to DaKoda, then continued to trot towards the building. He paused at the pup's cries, but only watched from a distance, as if unsure what to do. If his fur wasn't so dark, Fell would be like a ghost.

[Breeze]

Brook saw the outline of a dog."Hey! Help me get out!" She screeches. She wanted to be away from her former home as fast as possible. Her mothers body was in the house in an awkward and disturbing position. That was why she didn't go through the house, and the fear of rubble falling on top of her was still high.

Fell grunted and snapped back to reality. He managed to grip the fence with his paws and haul himself over. He took the pup by the scruff and returned outside the fence in the same manner. "Better, pup?" Fell growled and continued on his way.

Koda looked around as he saw the black dog grb a pup and place her on the other side of the fence. He trotted up to the pup, "Are you alright?" He asked the pup. He sat down and shifted his paws as he was excited to explore the large human den but he also wanted to help.

"Don't call me that!" She screams after the black dog[Fell] , tiny yet sharp fangs bared. "I'm fine." She huffs angrily at the second one that had appered. She was determined not to speak again after this, after witnessing her mother and siblings die. Her dreams would be haunted forever.

Koda flinched at her loud scream and shook his head when he heard her say she was fine, "Well OK then, you just look a little ruffled thats all," He said. He sighed and stood to his paws, seeing that she was clearly upset about something. He took a deep breath and looked at the pup, "my names DaKoda by the way, may I ask of yours?"

[Breeze]

"I'm Brook." Was the only thing she said. She silently vowed not to actually say something to anyone else except in life or death situations, or if she trusted them.

"Ok," He said quickly, seeing that she didnt want to talk to him or the black lab, "Well theres a house down the road that is almost perfecty fine and you both are welcome to share it with me, seeing that there are barely any other buildings that are in great shape, or even up at all..." He trailed off and shook his head before he began to trot to the house but then he stopped and turned back to the black dog, "Oh and I never got your name." He said.

[Breeze]

Brook hurries after the two, despising being left alone. Her head hung low, a soft yet strangled whimper emits from her throat. She doesn't even notice. The image of the roof falling on her sleeping mother was still fresh in her head.

Ellie lifted her red and white head and she gave a friendly wag before trotting forward a few paces as she spotted the approaching dogs. Hello, Im Ellie, She yipped as the dogs continued to near[Brook, DaKoda, Fell]. Whats your names? She asked, trying to be friendly as she could tell this was their house because one of there scents could be scented from the bottom of the window
