This roleplay topic takes place in bustling city full of humans. Some of these humans are well-meaning and will feed you, but others will try to catch you or even kill you. The metal monsters that rule the city will hunt you. As a stray dog living on the streets, you may join a pack or strike out on your own. Either way, beware; a dog's life is a fight for survival.

Current Events: Pepper, Coco, and Blaze are now old enough for their ranks. Sophie has joined the pack.

Winter smiled lightly. "Welcome to the pack." She huffed and trotted off.

[Lightning]

Coco heard Blaze call out to her. "You have to catch me first." she shouted. The brown kelpie yearling lept into a ateady lope that she could manage all day but it also allowed Blaze to catch up abit.

[Breeze]

(Sorry i'm a day late from EFA. Turns out we went to Luray Caverns, which set us back a day late.)
Blue jumped off of the roof, disappointed that nothing was left of the meal. She silently watches Winter and some other dogs have a discussion with a doberman [Demon]. She sits, calculating everything, looking around slowly but taking everything in.

Winter lpoked up at the shed roof and flicked her white tail. "Wanna come down?" She growled, but not being particulary unfriendly.

Blaze caught up with Coco and nipped her ear playfully. He wagged his golden brown tail.

[Breeze]

Blue looks over at Winter. She was used to this, other dogs being not to friendly. She gets up and trots over to a garbage can and digs around in it. Tipping it over, she grabs a whole steak leftover from someones dinner. Why do humans throw away perfectly good food? She thinks

[Seaspray]

Winter watched Blue. "You would be a good food scout..." The siberian husky said aloud.

[Breeze]

Blue looked up from her meal and began to eat. She wondered why the fae named Winter would think that.

[Lightning]

Coco yelped as Blaze nipped her. Looking over at him she giggled and brushed her pelt agaist his before bounding forward and wheeling around like she would with a run away sheep.

[Breeze]

Blue changed her gaze to a tan yearling [Coco] as she made a move as one would on a sheep. Blue's tail waged, collecting dirt and making the underside of her tail tan. She finished her steak and went back to the trash can. Searching the garbage, she picked up a large rib bone and lay down to gnaw on it.

[Seaspray]

Winter cocked her head to the side as she watched Blue. "This is Street Survivors territory. Would you like to join the pack?" She yipped.

Blaze watched Coco's graceful movements in awe. "That's amazing." He said. "Where'd you pick up those moves from?"

[Breeze]

Blue looks up from her bone and nods at Winter. Then she picks the bone up in her mouth and runs back up the log pile to the roof of the shed. She could live with other dogs, but Blue was more of the aloof type. She gnaws on the bone again after laying down on the roof.

[Seaspray]

Winter smiled. "I take that as a yes...? Which rank do you want?" She said. Already she could tell that Blue was more of the silent type, but the siberian husky was fine with that.

[Lightning]

Coco blushed and looked at the ground. "Im a herder. Its one of the moves we use to bring straying sheep back to the main herd." she said softly. The brown yearling shrugged acting like it was nothing.

[Seaspray]

Blaze's orange eyes widened. "That's so cool!" He grinned and shyly nuzzled the brown kelpie yearling.

[Lightning]

Coco smiled shyly at Blaze. "Thanks." she said softly.

[Breeze]

"Food scout, Hunter, whatever you have here." Blue replies after putting the bone down. She jumps off the roof to near the garbage, digging around again. Finding another bone with some meat on it, it looked like Blue had picked the trash can dry. She carries the new bone to Winter. "Want it?" She asks, setting the bone down.

[Seaspray]

Winter was going to refuse the bone, but it seemed that Blue had already eaten her fill. "Sure. Thanks." She said.


Blaze wagged his tail and ran off again. He ran down alleyways but avoided traffic.

[Breeze]

Blue nods and jumps back up onto the roof. She loved the view from high places. She picks the bone back up and chews on it some more.

[Lightning]

Coco laughed and raced after Blaze. As she ran a car going faster than the speed limit zoomed towards the kelpie yearling. Seeing the danger she tried to get out of the way but was to slow. The car hit her hard and broke one of her hind legs. She yelped loudly and scrambled to her paws and started to limb away as the humans got out of the car.

[Seaspray]

"NOO!" Blaze yelped. Blinded by pain and anger, he tried to attack the metal monster (car) in vain. Humans got out of the car, held devices up to their ears, and in no time more cars arrived at the scene. Blaze refused to leave Coco's side, so the humans gently enveloped him in a net. He thrashed and struggled in his containment to no avail. The mutt yearling watched Coco be loaded up in the car, in the cage beside him.

[Snowflower]

Rocky padded over to where all the cars were. His eyes widened. His owners were there, in the crowd. He ran over to the truck and jumped in. "Don't worry."he said to the two. "I've got out of these things before." Rocky gripped on the ground as the truck started to move. The truck bounced once and just stopped. Apparently, it just got a flat tire. He quickly unlocked Coco and Blaze's metal cages. He reached out his paw from the metal and unlocked the door, pushing it open. "Quick quick quick! Out now!" he exclaimed.

[Seaspray]

With a grateful yip, Blaze leaped out of the cage. He looked over his shoulder, refusing to leave the scene until Coco left with him.

[Snowflower]

Rocky huffed. He took Coco on his back and ran to where they came from. The crowd had gone and so had his owners. He looked to Winter and placed Coco down on an old mattress.

[Seaspray]

Winter growled and began to bristle. "What happened?" She demanded.

[Breeze]

Narrowing her eyes in confusion, Blue leaps off the roof. The smell of humans were all over the dogs who came. She reeled back from the scent. She had given up on owners and pampering. Blue was a Border Collie. She was meant to be outside, herding sheep. But there were no sheep here. She had no idea what to do out here in the city, except find food and fend for yourself. But here, dogs were caring for others dogs. It was too late to leave them, for she had joined them. Blue knew nothing about healing, so she just stepped out of the way.
