Current Events: Everyone's meeting one another, for the most part. Kalo is confronting a dog.

A troublesome nieghbor finds out their living there, and pretty much blackmails the gang. The Runaways then decide something to do about it, and take action.

You can stay with us if you want. Kat says to the little girl, with a pang of pity for her. Come on. She says, and stands up and walks halfway up the stairs to the room with her friends, and turns to wait for her.

[Mai]

"OK, thanks," she said and stood up before following her up the stairs. "Im Emma by the way," she said and peaked inside the building.

[Seaspray]

Kalo smiled at Emma. "Hi, my name is Kalo." She said.

[Breeze]

I'm Kat. She says with a smile. She goes up to the top of the stairs and walks into the room with futon. She was suddenly (and out of the blue) aware of how much she must stink after being on the streets for about five or six years. Not to mention how filthy. She sits down on the floor next to the wall, and thinks what to do about this if she were to blend in with the crowds to get something from somewhere.

Emma nods and slowly steps inside the building before walking into a corner in the shadows where it was hard to be seen. She disnt want to be in the way as she spoke, "Nice to meat you both," she mumbled, not able to return Kalo's smile as she felt like a nuicense and a bother, just a little no nothing kid compared to the other children who appeared to be much older than her. She sighed quietly and slid to the floor before putting her head on her knees.

[Breeze]

Kat looked up as Em sat down. She goes back to her thoughts. Maybe I could break into a house while the people who own it are gone, clean myself, and get out... that could work. She thinks.

[Seaspray]

Kalo frowned at the miserable sight of Emma. "Well, pick yourself up!" She snapped. "Don't be sitting around feeling sorry for yourself."

[Breeze]

Kat jumps a little as Kalo snaps. She'd never heard her friend speak like that before. Kat remembers her Via Bradley with the Chex Mix in it. She didn't get it right away, though. Kalo might assume that Kat thought Kalo was speaking to her.

[Mai]

Emma jerked up suddenly as she heard someone shout. She glanced around and realized it was Kalo. She scowled and stood up. "Dont tell me what to do!" she snapped right back and leaned down to pick up her bag. "And I wasnt feeling sorry for myself, I was just thinking," She said matter-of-factly before walking out the door and charging down the stairs. She glanced around and headed in another direction before running swiftly to another store, her belly still not full from the single bag of doritos she had eaten earlier.

[Breeze]

Kat jumps again. No sleep+shouting=Cranky Kat. She stands up and strides out of the room, down the stairs and to her via bradley. Then she goes after Emma.

[Mai]

Emma froze just as she layed her hand down on the handle of the store. She turned and narrowed her eyes as she saw Kat following her. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice lighter though her tone was still somewhat rough. Her blue eyes darted to the glass door and at a hot dog that was sitting in a spinning box that kept the hotdog heated and cooked. She just kept her mouth from drooling before she looked back to Kat, waiting for an answer.

[Breeze]

Just thought I'd help. And I wanted to get out of that room anyway. It was getting stuffy. Kat says easily. She looks at the hotdogs Emma was looking at. Hold on. Kat says, walking into the store. She uses her long blonde hair as a curtain to hide her face for what she was about to do. She darts to the hotdogs, snatches about six up and darts out of the store. Come on! She calls to Emma with a hint of laughter in her voice. She ran faster as the clerk began to chase after her.

[Mai]

Emma nodded in agreement when Kat said the room was stuffy. She suddenly froze as she saw Kat dart in the store and dart out of the store in seconds flat. Her mouth hands open in astonishment. "I wish I was that good at stealing." she thought but her thoughts drifted away as Kat started to run off laughing. Emma giggled and ran after her, her feet clapping onto the concrete as she ran and she gtrinned even wider as the man that was chasing them footsteps faded away as he fell behind or just stopped chasing.

Nick looked up as he saw a new girl walk in and then walk off with Kat following after her. He shrugged and stood up as well, glancing around before he to stepped outside and allowed the wind to whip through his blond hair.

[Breeze]

Kat turns a corner, another, and yet another to see the man turning a corner to where they'd last been. I love street tricks... She thinks happily. Laughing again, she spots Nick's blond hair. She runs toward him and the ally where the window is. Hurry, Emma! She says, stopping to wait for the young girl. But, on the inside, Kat was about to burst in laughter. The man was no where in sight.

Domanick looked down, suprised to see the young girl and Kat run back in a laughing hurry. He realized the other girls name must be Emma and he grinned, waving to them, wandering what the hurry was about.

[Breeze]

Kat walked to stand beside Nick while waiting for Emma. Hotdog? She asks him, handing one to him. She takes one for herself and begins to eat it.

"Thanks," Nick says as he takes the hotdog and takes a bite, chewing slowly as he savored the flavor. He sat down on the steps with the hotdog still in hand and he gazed out into the night(or day? not sure)

[Breeze]

Kat leans against the wall of the building. She was tired again. With a huge yawn, she slids down the wall into a sitting position. She takes the water bottle from her VB (Via Bradley) And takes a sip. She keeps it in her hand.

Nick looks up as he sees Kat sit down. He shrugs and looks back into the evening sky before looking back down and taking Oliver out, he begins to stroke Oliver though he looks back at the orange sky and he cant help feel relaxed as he fineshes off his hotdog.

[Breeze]

Kat sees Nick and his ferret from the corner of her eye. She stops up the top to her bottle and puts it back in her VB. Sighing, she rests her head agianst the wall.

[Mai]

Emma goes up the stairs and silently takes a hot dog before stuffing it into her mouith. She chewed and swallowed quickly, choking as she didso, before she went and leaned on the railing.

[Breeze]

(Kat is downstairs, but OK.)
Kat stands up goes to the broken window. Crawling in, the laughter held up inside her boils over. She doubles over, laughing out of no where.

Emma looks down as she hears someone laughing. She narrows her eyes wondering why but says nothing and she slumps to the floor.

[Breeze]

Kat wipes a happy tear from her eye. Now done laughing, she sits down on the lower wall, swinging her legs back and forth out of boredom.
